Zircon Gold has been developed primarily as a gold jewelry alternative. The production method is similar to Blackline, however, rather than using a film of titanium, another material (zirconium nitride) is used.

 

Niobium resembles titanium although it is heavier metal. If niobium is used as body jewelry it must be as pure as possible, the threshold value being 99.9% niobium.

 

Bronze is often used in larger body piercings in the form of ear weights and ethnic jewelry. Bronze is an alloy that is comprised of different metals but the most common blend is 90% copper and 10% tin.

 

Body jewelry that is made from Silver has been common for centuries in all forms of jewelry. It has a certain luster and can also be treated to make some areas black in color that gives it a nice contrast. But, silver also happens to be one of the most common reasons for allergies to nickel.
